I have been a healthcare professional for 30 years and thoroughly vet any surgery and surgeons before making a choice, usually with several consultations. I was very pleased with Dr Grewe from the first meeting to his surgery team and how thorough the process was. My knee is perfect and in great shape, his PA offered me some other therapy choices after surgery that I am very happy with and am more than please to advocate his services to anyone based on his experience and his surgery groups reputation.

Initially I was interested in a lateral partial knee replacement and due to their rarity, the doctors in Bend, where I live, referred me to Dr. Grewe, because they felt he was a higher volume practice for rarer surgeries like the partial. I ended up having a total knee replacement anyway because my medial compartment was also more damaged than expected. I injured my right shoulder in 2010. My mom recommended I schedule an appointment with Dr Grewe. While deployed overseas, I re-injured the same shoulder. He performed both shoulder repairs, two years apart.
Was referred to Dr. Grewe for severe cartilage loss on my femur. He performed my arthroscopic surgery and then performed a MACI procedure. Super happy with the care I received from not only Dr. Grewe but also with the team of PA’s. Would highly recommend the team to anyone.
