Dr Wang may be a great Doc but he has too many patients, and the experience approximates a factory doing piece work. His waiting room is like a Covid hotspot packed with no spacing and people waiting in the hall to avoid the congestion. When you finally get to him, he is in and out so fast and he fails to adequately explain treatments and procedures.

Waited 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor with no explanation or apology. Completely unacceptable. Rude, in fact. Dread next visit. Would change clinics if I did not have to repeat the process. Hopefully will not have to go in but one more time.

Dr. Robert Wang is the best doctor that we have ever seen. In addition to his great knowledge and extensive experience, he is thoughtful, considerate, human, Sympathetic, warm-hearted, honest, friendly, and kind. Honestly there are no enough words to describe this doctor. He has been helping my dad with his OCP eye condition and my dad loves him. He will go above and beyond to get his patients the treatments they need and will help them in every way possible to get them treated. He cares about his patients as his own family.... read more

An excellent eye doctor had no success treating my particular eye situation and referred me to Dr Wang saying, "if anybody can figure this out, he can". Dr Wang stopped the progression of vision loss and has kept me seeing fine for 7 yrs now. He's smart and very kind - an unbeatable combination. Your eyes will be in good hands !!
Dr. Wang is a brilliant, caring doctor with great bedside manner. He treats me for retinopathy and diabetic macular edema. He is very gentle and careful in how he handles his patients. He is very kind and listens to his patients. I would highly recommend him if you need an ophthalmologist/retina specialist. He is a very popular doctor, so wait times in his office will be a little higher than usual, but it is well worth the wait!
I was referred to Dr. Williams after my first retina surgeon failed to address my issue properly. Although he was unable to fully correct the issue caused by the first surgeon, I couldn't be more happy with the care that has been provided by Dr. Williams. He is kind and patient. I would recommend him without reservation.
Dr Wang became my dr when I was diagnosed with Bird Shot of my left eye in 2015, a rare form of uveitis that effects the posterior uveitis (the retina and choroid). I have found him to be a genuine and affable physician who truly cares about my eye health. He is experienced and talented. and seeks the best outcome. He always answers all my questions explaining in detail all that is needed for optimal resolution of my eye issues.

Dr. David Callanan most certainly gets a Five Star Rating from me. He performed vitreoretinal surgery on my right eye in June about 2 months ago. The entire procedure was flawless and the post op period was without any pain whatsoever. I am highly recommending Dr. David Callanan to everyone that I talk to that has a Retina problem and for everyone reading this review he is absolutely the best. I also want to thank everyone at Texas Health Surgery Center and Texas Retina Associates in Arlington
