Dr Wang has treated my elderly Mom for macular degeneration for a number of years. He is so patient and kind with her, and very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest treatments.I highly recommend Dr Robert Wang and the Texas Retina Clinic Plano.
Dr. Wang is professional, empathetic and kind. I wish all doctors were as caring as he is. I’ve never felt rushed during an appointment and always feel I am heard and my concerns are addressed. Bravo Dr Wang!
Bad overall experience
Dr. Wang is what every doctor should aspirate to be like. He is attentive, intelligent, caring, detailed oriented and extremely pleasant. The wait is a little longer than some other offices but he is worth it. He does not rush through your appointment, takes care to explain your condition well. He saved my eyesight and has me on a treatment plan that manages my condition. I wish more doctors were like him. His long term staff is also pretty great!
Great doctor and staff. Professional and extremely smart. He is my favorite doctor who saved my sight many years ago.
Dr. Wang has saved my eyesight two times in the last 15+ years. I have had a detached Retina in both eyes at different times. I believe it was two years after he saved one eye that I was having vision problems with flashes and floaters. Dr. Wang's wonderful staff got me in for a visit immediately that morning I called. I went to his office on Coit Rd. in Plano and he examined my eye and ask me if I could drive to his office at Walnut Hill & 75 and meet him there in 20 minutes. 2-hour wait for a 5-minute visit full of unpleasant choices that he and his office staff are very casual about. It’s all about them, nothing about patients. He’s smart but if he wasn’t he’d have no patients. Office is a disaster

Wonderful doctor. Takes his time, explains, and will answer all questions you have! One of the first doctor’s I saw that made me feel completely comfortable and like we had a good treatment plan for my issue. The problem is when you leave the office. After three months of waiting for a prescription to be filled/authorized/approved - I started calling the office to ask the status/delay.
