Excellant. Dr. James has been my back doctor for over 15 years. He has performed 3 back surgeries on me. Each one went beautifully and I have no limitations, pain or issues with my back. He is extremly studied and trained; and very kind and totally focused on his patitents care. His staff is effiecient and personable. I would not go to any other back/spine doctor than Dr. James!

Dr. Plas James MD. Is such an exceptional physician, I have been a patient of his for many years. I would highly recommend the very highest rating for him. I came to Dr. James to get a second opinion because my first doctor said that there was nothing he could do… However after performing an exam and reviewing my MRI, Dr. James was able to thoroughly explain my condition and offer recommendations on a resolution m. He was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail. Very happy I came here!

Dr James and his team from the moment I stepped into the office finally made me feel heard. I had been dealing with a back problem for 12 weeks with another team before I got a 2nd opinion with Dr James and it was the best decision I could have ever made. Surgery went great and I am recovering well at home now. Can’t say enough GREAT things about Dr James and his team.

For years I was hesitate to have spine surgery, and then I heard about Dr. Plas James. He is an excellent surgeon and very well know in South GA. Patients do not hesitate to make the 3-4 hour drive to Atlanta to be under his care. He is extremely smart, professional, and compassionate. In 2006, I slipped on a silk dress at work didn't think I had done any damage, however, months went by and I was told by the worker's comp doctor that I had some issues with my C4 through C6. I recommend Dr. Plas James to anyone in need of neck surgery. I was understandably apprehensive of major surgery, but Dr. James reassured me and answered all my questions. Dr. James prayed with me before surgery, and my surgery was successful. The hospital staff at St. Joseph’ s was very caring before and after my surgery. Dr. James and his entire staff are wonderful. I’m glad I entrusted him to perform my surgery.
