What I enjoy most about Dr. James is his real interest in my health. He takes the time to understand what is happening and develops a plan to remediate. There is no sense of rush with him. 5 stars!!
From the moment that I met Dr. James, I knew I was in good hands. He made me and my wife feel extremely comfortable and confident that I was in good hands and that Dr. James would fix the problem. I highly recommend Dr. James to anyone that is second guessing surgery. He and his staff should be the expectation of what to expect, not the exception. However, in my opinion, Dr. James holds the bar high and his skills are second to none. Thanks to him, I am pain free and looking forward to feeling normal again.
Dr. James helped me when other doctors said there was nothing they could do to help me! Dr. James, his staff, and PA’s, are all the best you can find! I have sent many people his way! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!
He is obviously very knowledgeable and asks a lot of questions. He moved my body a lot to determine the extent of the issue and gave me a path to treat the issue. He explained the MRI clearly. His non-opiate script provided relief almost immediatedly.
Dr. James has the best bedside manner and truly cares for his patients. He is always so nice and helps me to alleviate my back pain.

For the past 5 weeks, I was being referred to one specialist after another. Finally, I ended up in the ER presenting stroke like symptoms. I was diagnosed with Cervical and Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. My experience at Piedmont ER was nothing short of a nightmare. So, I was skeptical before my visit with Dr. Plas. I seldom find myself short of words. Dr. James and his staff are excellent! Knowledgeable and thorough! I am grateful, not only for their initial assessment of my problem, but for the follow through moving forward. I know I’m in the best hands!
From visit 1 til my latest follow up I have been extremely pleased .. I love Dr James, Mario and Jason.. and the entire staff .. everyone has helped me every step of the way and would recommend to anyone with upcoming procedures !
