My husband and I went to Dr Stanton for a second opinion and decided after he left the room that he was our first choice for back surgery for me. We had so much explanation given to us while showing my x-rays and MRI and what they meant. Then he very carefully explained what needed to be done and how it was going to be accomplished. Wow. No question as to our decision to turn my back over to Dr Stanton!
Dr. Stanton listened to my issues and explained his treatments.

6 week post op appointment. Dr. Stanton has provided spine care to me for 6 surgeries over 6 yrs. Without his expert surgical skills and care, I don't know if I would be walking today.
Dr Stanton was very pleasant and explained things very well His staff was also very good.
Pain and numbness in legs due to severe arthritis in lower lumbar spine
Dr. Stanton performed a L4/S1 Spinal Fusion in March. Yesterday I had my 'last' post-operation exam--all is well and I can go back to 'normal.' My experience with him and his PA, Janelle, and other staff has been only positive. I am very pleased with the results and can only commend him at the highest level.
Couldn't have been better. He listened to my concerns and proved a course of action that was acceptable to me.
I was recommended to Dr. Stanton by a family member. What an excellent physician he is. He operated on my spine for a long standing issue that is now corrected. I feel like a different person! I'm so thankful I met him and had this surgery done. I highly recommend Dr. Stanton and the CSOG. He has a wonderful and supportive staff. My life can begin again. Thank you Dr. Stanton!
