I was new to town and recovering from an ALIF L5-S1 fusion. The procedure was conducted while I was in the Army. My surgeon recommended I have an X-ray to confirm proper placement of the instrumentation. After waiting an hour in the waiting room, past my scheduled appointment, Dr. Stanton couldn’t get rid of me quick enough. He seemed annoyed with my questions and could not care less about my post surgical situation. I will gladly never be back.

I have seen Dr Stanton for a number of years. He performed my cervical spine surgery and I was so impressed by his surgical skill and care . I am now under his care for spinal deterioration issues and I would not consider seeing anyone else for this condition. His expertise is unmatched! I feel that he is my friend and doctor at this point and trust his professional decisions. If you are in pain and you want to wait for a very long time, in the most uncomfortable chairs, then by all means come here. I have now visited him twice and another doctor in this facility another two times. It is more common than not to wait at least an hour to see the Dr.s, so plan accordingly. There is no water, no active t.v., no coffee, no magazines, spotty WiFi. (One wouldn't need any of those things if you weren't camped out in a lobby filled with people for eons.) He fixed my C4-5-6 great recovery and now I have to have lumbar surgery I feel very good about Dr Stanton doing my surgery I would highly recommend him one great Dr

Dr. Stanton may be a good surgeon, but I do not think he is a good doctor. He is very aggressive in his decisions to do surgery. He wanted to do surgery on me after spending about 5 minutes with me! The other 5 minutes were spent explaining why I should do the surgery. I had surgery scheduled, but I felt very reluctant to go through with it so I sought a second opinion & was told I didn’t need surgery. I called to postpone my surgery because I was actually sick. Dr. Stanton was clear and concise answering my questions about surgery options. I feel confident he will be the right choice to perform my procedure. My only complaint was the wait time. I waited 45 minutes in the exam room with no updates from staff before Dr. Stanton finally arrived and no apologies or acknowledgement. I was finally seen at 11:30 for a 10:30 appointment.

I came into the emergency room by ambulance and he fit me into his busy schedule. Did a TLIF and saved my life.!!! I will forever return to Dr Stanton!! Fantastic PAs too!!

Dr. Stanton and his team were superb. From my first appointment to my 6 week post op follow up, they were caring, communicative, and conscientious. The surgery was completely worth it as my pain is gone. Can't wait to finish PT and get back to all those activities that have been on hold. Thanks, Team!
