I have been seeing Dr. Thambi since January 2017, at which time I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. We waited and watched the disease progress until September of 2018 when chemoimmunotherapy was started. I responded well to the treatment and began IVIG in June of 2019 to boost my broken immune system. The medical team has been great to work with and I am grateful for their experienced care.
Dr Thambi, since I first met him in the hospital has been nothing but professional, friendly and caring. He greets you with a smile, listens to his patients concerns and addresses them so that you can understand them. I am very fortunate that he is my Oncologist.

It was a typical visit. Blood work and then a talk with Dr. Thambi. Always a good visit with Dr. Thambi. Never rushed and he is always ready to take time and discuss anything I'm concerned about.

Wonderful experience with Maryland Oncology Hematology. The services I have received (8 years in a row) from Dr. Thambi is excellent. Wonderful experience with Dr. Thambi at every appointment (5 - 6 appointments/year for more than 8 yrs.). Dr. Thambi is a person with outstanding quality of medical care.
