We have a 13 year old son who had a kidney transplant last year and has suffered with a rare kidney disease since the age of 3.5 years old. We recently moved to Alabama from Arkansas and were referred to Dr. Benfield. We had our first appointment yesterday and felt so welcomed by all of the staff. Blessed to consider this office our kidney family. My son has a very rare kidney disease that luckily, Dr. Benfield is extremely knowledgeable with. Having him as our Doctor has made this hard diagnosis, and reality of this serious disease easier to understand and comprehend. No questions ever go unanswered. Again, we are fortunate. Having Cheryl at the front is wonderful as well. She is on top of everything. I highly recommend their office for your children. You will grow to love them like we have.

My son was born 10 years ago with chronic kidney disease and Dr. Mark Benfield has been his kidney doctor from day 1! He has a wonderful, loving, and helpful staff and I wouldn't trade them for nothing in the world(except for two healthy kidneys from GOD!) I would recommend anyone who has a child with kidney issues to him and his wonderful staff!!!
