Dr Levinkind diagnosed a lip and posterior tongue tie on my son that the NHS doctor’s and midwives failed to address. Now my baby can latch better and move his tongue that was stuck down! I was also seen the next day after booking the appointment. Dr Levinkind put me into contact with an osteopath and a lactation consultant to address the left over tension on my baby. I had a very disappointing experience with Malcolm during a consultation for my 6-month-old son. He diagnosed a “clinically significant tongue tie” but gave no clear explanation or evidence to support this. When I asked about the severity, he refused to answer and kept repeating the same phrase. We saw Dr Levinkind following an assessment with a breastfeeding consultant who had diagnosed a tongue and lip tie as the likely cause of feeding issues in our 2 week old son. Despite a busy schedule Dr Levinkind slotted us in for an initial assessment, he agreed with the diagnosis and after discussion we decided to go ahead with laser surgery on the same day. Dr levinkind and his assistant were amazing, he explained everything so we understood what was happening and what to expect from the aftercare.
We saw Dr. Levenkind when our daughter was a baby for a tongue tie release, and he did a fantastic job — gentle, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Now at age 5, our dentist recommended her lip tie be lasered, so we went back to Dr. Levenkind for advice. He carefully reviewed photos and spoke to us over the phone.
