Dr. Spencer may have 18 years of experience in dermatology but she’s very difficult to connect with, she lacks empathy and appears disinterested. Dealing with things like possible skin cancer may be a routine every day event for her, but it was new for me, and I felt like she dismissed my feelings and didn’t take the time to speak to me as a layperson using terms I could understand and reassuring me or sharing with me studies or other patients she’s had who have overcome experiences like melanoma.
