Last I saw her according to the office was 2016. I did all the new person paper work a month or so ago took it in and still haven't got an appointment. But I think I shall look else where bc she makes me feel like crap for being obese and every issue I have is immediately blamed on my size.
Dr. Ortega provides thorough and professional care. She is easy to talk with and answers questions in a very understandable manner. Excellent physician.

I have no problems with Dr. Ortega......she asks all the right questions, but I keep giving her the wrong answers... She wasn't too happy that I had not taken or stopped taking some of my meds......I was surprised that one of my in-house tests came back within the required parameters (a1c). I will have to push myself to do what I am told to do....Look forward to the next appointment........

She is caring, professional, and thorough.
Dr. Ortega is a good listener and she explains things very well. She is compassionate and I could not be happier with her as my doctor. However I am not sure that the office staff forgot about me after signing in. All of those who came in after me were called and after an hour of waiting my husband checked at the window and he said from their response it seemed like they had forgotten.
First over the phone visit. Everything went very well. She listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. We discussed my prescriptions and ordered them. I have always found Dr. Ortega to be very caring and knowledgeable.
6 month checkup. Dr. Ortega went above and beyond other providers in supporting cancer lab tests recommended by MD Anderson.
