My kids are now in their teen years and are still anxious of dental visits and refuse to even go for cleanings due to traumatic experiences with this dentist. He does not care about the comfort of your child during treatment. He gives them no control whatsoever, and if your child expresses any signs of discomfort, he will ignore them and will not pause drilling to offer your child a break, as other pediatric dentists i know do. Two years ago I took my 2yr old son in to see Dr.Yanover. He needed to have dental surgery. Before I went into the appointment I was feeling nervous of how they might look at me with my little boy having caveties. Dr.Yanover and his staff were KIND and only focused on the care and health of my sons teeth. Two years later I took my son in to see Dr.Yanover once again knowing that he was going to need some work done. He was a great dentist. Everything went smooth and my daughter was better within 3 hours after her surgery on 10 teeth including 2 crowns. Would recommend to anyone he was fantastic. A plus with everything, super wonderful guy.
at first i was a little worried on the wrap they put my daughter because it looked to be scarry for a child but once we got there and they put her in it and started the provedure i realized that to my daughter it was not scarry at all and she was comfortable through the entire procesure and over all it was a great experience and my daughter has no fear of the dentist over it she willingly goes back to the dentist with out worry thank you
I was referred to bring my 2 children to Dr. Yanover. My 5 year old daughter had her work done in the office. Dr. Yanover was awesome with her. My son who is 6 tried to have his work done in the office but was unsuccessful so we had to get treatment done in the hospital with Dr. Yanover. I think I was more nervous than my son. All went well! Dr. Yanover was great with my daughter who was very nervous about her first major dentist visit. She had to get quite a bit of work done and he worked quickly with minimul stress to her. She cried a bit, but he was able to calm her down and continue working. His staff was also very nice to my daughter and made her feel very comfortable by explaining everything that was going on. I will definitely be going to see Dr. Yanover for any further dental problems my daughter might have!
Dr. Yanover is a very competent doctor and I would recommend him to any parent. He has teated 3 of my children and they have all had a favourable experience. He was able to do crowns on two of my children, both at 4 yrs. of age with no sedation whatsoever. Remember to be realistic when your child is sitting in the chair, if you panic then your child will panic!
I WILL NEVER EVER AGAIN TAKE MY CHILD THERE. THEY WERE RUDE AND FOR THE MOST PART MY SON WAS NOT COMPLETELY FROZEN WHEN HE HAD THE WORK DONE ON HIS MOUTH. THEY CONTINUED TO DRILL HIS TEETH EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NOT COMPLETELY FROZEN, I TRIED TO CALM HIM DOWN ONLY TO BE TOLD TO NOT SPEAK TO HIM. HE CRIED SOO BAD HIS VEINS WERE POPPING OUT OF HIS NECK. I HAD TO WATCH MY SON SUFFER FOR OVER AN HOUR WHILE HE WAS STRAPPED DOWN IN A STRAIGHT JACKET COULD NOT MOVE, ALL HE COULD DO WAS BARE THE PAIN OF EVERY SINGLE NERVE HE HIT WITH TH... read more
Our son Matthew was in the chair in the morning and by the afternoon was back to himself in no pain. Thank you Dr. Yanover, The Jessomes !!
