My daughter is almost 17 and still is traumatized by the treatment she received when she was 5. She remembers being "cocooned" and the blood. The staff....horrible. They had moved offices in between our initial visit and follow up and failed to tell us. When we showed up ON TIME for our visit, they weren't there. We went into another business in the plaza and were informed that they had moved. They were great and called the office for us to tell them we were there and would be late for our appt. Dr.Yanover and his staff were fantastic with my 4 year old son.He had some pretty extreme dental work done and came thru with flying colours.The whole time my son was comfortable,he was able to watch a movie and Dr Yanover worked Quickly to finish the traumatic experience.My son bounced right back and isn't afraid of the dentist in the least.I was extremely pleased with Dr Yanover and his Great Staff.
staff was amazing! Dr Yanover was very informative opened my eyes on many subjects. My childs sedation appt. was a total success, from start to finish. Staff was the BEST explained everything they were the best part of the whole experience. Dr Yanover was pleasant and professional. He and his girls remained calm and in control at all times. We felt as though we were in the best hands.
This office is a very pleasant and friendly environment to visit. I was comforted and treated very well before and after my treatment. My appointment was on time and I did recieve a reminder about my appointment. The dentist and staff were both very knowledgable about my case and what i needed to know. I would reccommend this dentist to anyone with nervous children, they will not be nervous to visit again!
After reading the other reviews I'm really surprised at the negative ones. My son is special needs with sensory issues. The wrapping in the wrap was great as he likes deep pressure. Our consult was fair and everything was explained. Even my fears of finances and insurance coverage. Dr. Yanover spoke in a very soothing voice and calmed my son well while he worked on his mouth. Both of my children were babies when they saw Dr Yanover for the first time. I was nervous and hesitant at first, but over the last 8 years he has treated both my kids and would recommend him to anyone. I disagree with any negative comments about him or the ladies in the office. Both my children also had to have work done in the hospital when they were young, and if it wasn't for Dr Yanovers knowledge and fantastic work, my kids wouldn't have such beautiful smiles. Very good with my child,who was deathly afraid of the dentist. Prior to his most recent, perfect checkup, my son needed to be hospitalized to have any work done. Dr. Yanover and his staff made what could have been a very unpleasant experience, very easy. Accurate information delivered on time and extremely pleasantly made all the difference. We most definitely will continue to use Dr. Yanovers' services.
I was thoroughly disgusted how my daughter and I were treated during this visit.I was made to feel like a terrible mother who did not care about the health of her daughter.I was appauled at the rudeness of the staff and the manner in which the children are strapped down.I would never go back there and traumatize my daughter.I paid my enormous fee and found another dentist with more compassion!!
Dr. Yanover was very impatient with my son during the treatment session and casued him not want to see a dentist ever!
