We have been with Dr. Yanover for 12 years and have nothing but GREAT things to say. We have never met a dentist and staff who have such care and compassion for the overall oral health of children. Although the prognosis for a child may not be what you as a parent want to hear, Dr. Yanover and his staff provide you with options to ensure that your child's oral health is of utmost concern. Keep up the FANTASTIC work and looking forward to great care in the future.

I have taken my boys here for the past 7 years, as recommended by a friend. My boys never hesitate to go, love the movies during the check up! Staff and Dr. speak to my boys, complimenting them and correcting and cautioning too-all kindly. A tooth had to be pulled once-a little traumatic, but over quickly.

Unconcerned about his bedside manner. Did not like the sugar push. I've fed all 4 of my kids fruits for snacks all their lives and only one had cavities before age 10...apparently because of the fruit I fed him. Not true, I'm positive. The office staff was rude and ridiculous at times. I really wouldn't return unless there was something your average dentist who also works on children could not deal with. Just nasty women working there. Heaven forbid you should make a mistake in the time of your scheduled appointment (schedul... read more

A professional and knowledgeable doctor. Initial visit had me a little nervous about going through with the dental work. Second appointment was much better, and everything went smoothly. Follow-up visits as well. Very blunt and direct in his assessment of the dental work needed. Also immediately assumes all cavities are caused by a high sugar diet. Not necessarily the case. High quality work, no further issues.

A Godsend. Despite regular brushing my son required a SIGNIFIGANT amount of intensive work. I was horrified and couldn't understand why. A previous dentist had filled an improperly frozen tooth, so my son was understandably anxious and I was afraid that he might end up in a great amount of pain again. Dr Yannover and his staff not only took great care to ease my son's fears and eliminate his pain, but their advice and information has resulted in a clean bill of dental health ever since. This is a Staff AND office completely ... read more

He strapped me down in a papoose board when I was 7, and I even had to go to a therapist because of the traumatizing experience. I still hate dentists today!

My son has special needs so I assumed a pediatric dentist would be best. WRONG! This man was rough and terribly impatient with my son who already had high anxiety. I left his office feeling terribly guilty for allowing him to even touch my child. I wouldn't return if he offered FREE visits.

I don't think it is a point of being a jellyfish around your kids, this man is very rough, and uncaring, any resonable parent would not want their child to go through what mine did, he is terrified of dentists now. I will never send my child back to this man, and no one I remotley ever come in contact will either. He does not try to make the child feel any better at all, he just digs in, and does the work, regardless of their feelings, these kids aren't b'sing...they are TERRIFIED.

I agree with last comments. I am a nurse in a busy ER dept. and there is absolutely no need to traumatize children. I took my child for a consult and was not happy with his attitude and his absolute assumption that my childs dental problems were related to excess sugar consumption. If he had bothered to do an assessment and ask me about my childs diet, and past medical history - he would have known that was not the case. I found him cocky and dismissive - and he hadn;t even done any dental work on my child. I retrieved the x... read more
