I have nothing but good things to say about this Dr. My daughter was scared to death because she was traumatized by another dentist. She needed work and he was able to do it, yes, it is no-nonsense approach, but it works. Children tend to play into anything they can, he knows Bs'ers and he knows that some parents are jellyfish around their kids. This dentist is terrible.I took my 3 year old son to him. He had fallen on his face and one of his front teeth had turned grey. We took him into the open concept facility that Yanover had at that time, and my son started to freak out. As with the previous poster, he had us hold our son down. You can only imagine how I felt that I was betraying my son's trust. Yanover was cold and distant and wasn't gentle or caring with my son. I would never recommend this man to anyone. He is supposed to specialize in children, and he was course, and unfeeling. He was yelling at my child and disregarded his feelings completly.
He is specifically a pediatric dentist. He is very knowledgeable and professional. His wealth of experience shows in his treatment. Screaming toddlers don't faze him. Gives handouts of information that I've never seen another pediatric dentist do. Lets you know exactly what is and what is not good for the teeth. Very efficient. If you're local and have concerns about your child's teeth, this is the one to see. Office staff is great, too. Very adept at dealing with children.
