We took my son to Dr. Yanover when he was about 4 (he's 11 now!) as he had cavities in between his tight little teeth. We found Dr. Yanover to be very good. We appreciated the straightforward but compassion approach he had. We especially liked the wrap that my son was placed in and the sedation as he is over sensitive physically and a needs would have thrown him for a loop! Dr.yanover performed my son's emergency dental surgery in the St. Catharines hospital after hearing tons of horror stories about him I was quite scared that he was going to be doing the surgery not going to lie. He called me personally in our room to introduce himself and explain the procedure and all the horror stories went out the window he was a very pleasent man and had one of the best bedside manners I have ever encountered and even went and explained the surgery again to us and told us it wouldn't be long. Dr Yanover and literally all of his staff were amazing in every possibly way. They are friendly, professional, great fun with both our kids (6yrs&17mnths).. They took time to answer all of our questions and listen to all of our concerns, and were a wealth of useful information! The hygienists/receptionists were taking turns helping with our little guy so he didn't get restless during the visit, and they were a great encouragement to our nervous girl! I took my daughter to a regular dentist that found she had 2 cavities and suggested I go to dr. Yanover so she isn't tramatized by having needles and so forth as Yanover could sedate her. I agreed and went. First the front desk was so rude and disrespectful followed by a lengthy wait in the waiting room. Finally get her in there and the strapped her down and wrapped her tightly in a blanket. I don't know why they did this as she wasn't showing and anxious behaviour. They are shown models and visual pictures of a Pedi-wrap when providing sedation, which is not needed for general anaesthesia. I have went to Dr. Yanover from when I was 4 till I was 19. Now I have kids, we just took my son for a check up and the experience was still excellent as I remember. Would not go any where else. The staff and Dr. Yanover are so friendly and welcoming. You wont be disapointed.

Dr. Yanover and staff helped ease both my kids who were afraid to go to the dentist. My son had to have extensive work done and they kept us informed and helped with any concerns along the way. Definitely would recommend to anyone!!
Dr Yanover is an amazing dentist. My son is four and had four crowns and several fillings and some root canals as well. I think I had more anxiety than my son did. His staff set me at ease and everything was explained to him in great detail. He was made comfortable and relaxed and so was I. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. In fact, we will be completing the last phase of his dental work in the next month.

Dr. Yanover is an amazing and very thorough dentist. His staff is great and were excellent at keeping my kids happy. Even if I took all 4 in it was just fine. I will continue to support this dentist a very kind dr.
