When I was 14 I was referred to him through school because the nurse at school found I had scoliosis, and Thalgott had a free scoliosis clinic for the students and parents to follow up at and get treatment if needed (I'm sure it wasn't free if treatment were necessary). Doctor Thalgott tells it like it is. Not all back pain can be resolved 100% with surgery. PT has always helped my husband and when it didn't any more Dr Thalgott was there with his wizard like hands to give my husband his life back. THANKS JT!

Dr. Thalgott has no respect for his patients - not for their time, or for their pain, or for their lives. No matter what time you set your appointment for - you will wait THREE HOURS to see him. Every time. Even if you book the first appointment of the day. That tells me that - 1. He has no respect for his patients, and 2. His office staff is mind-bogglingly incompetent. My Wife's life has been destroyed by this so called Doctor. He butchered her back 4 yrs ago. Put in a device that was oversized (probably some kickback). When he knew how he screwed up, he said to her: "sorry, can't help you any more". Now on pain meds to take the "edge" off. No life! Almost suicidal at this point!

I have been with Dr. T for 17 yrs now, not 1 person is still there but he and I. I was in the medical field and a patient of mine said go see my doctor, HE HAS THE HANDS OF GOD. Who is he Dr. Thalgott, oh he's already my doctor. He has done all 9 of my lumbar surgeries, Degenerate Disc Disease, fused my L5/s1 7× all the way to L2/3, spinal cord stymulator, rods screwes, kitchen sink. Dr. Thalgott is a great doctor. He has taken care of a fusion in my lower back and cervical. Both surgeries went well with good results. I still have some pain but that was told to me upfront that it would not cure everything. The BS he has had to go through is amazing and he still is able to smile and treat his patients with humor and candor. I believe that if you think he is rude it is just that your not used to a MD telling you the straight scoop. You will not regret seeing Dr. T. for back and neck issues.

DR. THALGOTT IS THE BEST SPINE DR. I HAVE EVER MET. THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND PUNCTUAL. HAD NO PROBLEMS AT THE PRE/DURING AND POST SUPPORT DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME IN MY LIFE. THANKS DR. AND STAFF!!! YOU MADE ME SO COMFORTABLE. DAVE POWER

Scheduled a new MRI for $2,000 only 6 months after 1st at his group center he partly owns. Each time in office I waited OVER 5 hours. 2nd visit after MRI did not read it or explain. Saw me 5 min, said "I can't help you," turned on heel and left.Still charged $300 for 5 min visit. Referred me to pain clinic he partly owns.
