Dr. Shellock rocks! She is professional, skilled, and genuinely cares about your pain. My neck pain began 5 years ago, and was initially relieved with an injection. She accurately told me that it was temporary and that it would return eventually. It did, with a vengeance. After discussion and allowing me to make an informed decision, we decided that surgery was the best action to take. As soon as I woke up the pain was gone. And it hasn't returned. I have my life back because of her.

Dr. Shellock was so helpful in providing various options for relieving my back pain. Her knowledge and experience with artificial disk replacement and fusions allowed me to make that choice and I have not regretted it one time. I work as a realtor and I was showing houses (with a driver) three days after surgery. Of course I took breaks but none the less worked. Also, I was told by many that back surgery was most painful and that some were worse after . That is simply not the case. Do it!

I had surgery in 2013 to fuse C5, C6, and C7 together. Best decision that I ever made. Dr Shellock was awesome and felt that both before and after the surgery she did her due diligence to make sure all was good with me. Reason i am just now posting is that I was looking up her information to refer to a friend and saw that I could do so.

If i could leave 0 stars i would! My mother went to see this doctot to recive an MRI for chronic numbness and pain in hands neck and back. Due to lack of importance and ignorance and just plain ignorance this doctor neglected to take symptoms seriously and brushed off these syptoms as nothing serious. These actions resulted in a trip to the ICU with a very serious herniated cervical disc that could have broken completely and caused complete paralysis. Take your patients symptoms seriously!!!

Dr. Sherlock looked at the x-ray and stated “I don’t see a surgery “. Well, as a nurse RN, I heard “time for discharge”. “She quickly stated you need a urogynecologist” and I said “ do you know one” and she said ”no”. She agreed to the L spine MRI but absolutely refused the pelvis and sacral stating that that’s all she needs. As a nurse I naturally heard “that’s all I can make money off of and I’m not going fishing!” I have a difficult case and she showed zero interest in helping me.

I would recommend Dr. Shellock and her team to anyone who is in need of a spine specialist, both for surgical and non-surgical injuries. I have seen several other doctors in the DFW area and I believe that no one can top her. Her team is amazing. Jacob, her medical assistant, and Michelle, her scheduler are the most wonderful and easiest people to work with. She has absolutely given me a new life and my wife and I are excited about living a life without limitations again

I was referred to Dr. Shellock by a co-worker who had prior extensive spine surgery and felt her skills and expertise would be most valuable in my situation, From my first interaction with her scheduling team and going forward, it was clear that Dr. Shellock has assembled a highly functioning customer focused team. The proposed surgery was easily and realistically communicated, the actual surgery was without complication and the recovery was exactly inline with the expected results.
