After going over all of my issues and concerns with the doctor, she said that she would go and write up my referrals. However, she neglected to write up one of the referrals, and since I’ve been told I have to come back for another office visit as a result of her neglect, I’m choosing to go find another privary care physician because that is not acceptable. First time using the Emory system in April 2022 …. and was impressed with the communication, care, pre-op and day of, and follow-up. Dr Keilin really had a great way about leading the team of HC providers involved and explaining things in detail, but easy to understand. All the nurses, anesthesia professionals spoke to me, not at me. Highly recommend Dr Keilin - he made me feel relaxed and reassured with his bedside manner, knowledge and communication.
Dr. Frantz always responds to messages in the patient portal in a timely manner. He is easy to talk with regarding my medical care, and he offers solutions first before prescribing medication.
I recently underwent bypass surgery at Emory st Joseph’s in Atlanta. Dr Miller and everyone on his staff were wonderful and patient and kind. After a small nap, I woke up in recovery. I’m 6 weeks out and there is hardly anything left to remind me of the major surgery I went through. Most of the scars have healed well. Dr Miller performed triple bypass on me January 26th, 2021 for a left main blockage. I was 53 years old at the time. The surgery and recovery went great and over a year later feel as good as new. Was fortunate to get one of the absolute best bypass surgeons in Georgia. Thanks doc to you and your team. You guys are the best.
I was a patient of Dr. Palmer. I called for an appointment regarding having Tachycardia and was offered a date two months out. Through intervention from my primary physician I see the PA 3 days out. The PA orders a heart monitor for 30 days. I have another episode of tachycardia and I record an EKG with Kardia. I try to get an appointment with Dr. Palmer but the office doesn’t even call back. I see another cardiologist who diagnoses supraventricular tachycardia and a subsequent CTA reveals 3 partial blockages (2 serious)
Dr Miller and his team are absolute rockstars ! I was sent to Emory from another hospital after a "cardiac event". Dr Miller and his team did a ton of tests and found I needed triple bypass. Had surgery on 10/25, discharged on 10/29. Two months later I am feeling great and happy to have a longer lifespan ahead of me. Cannot thank these folks enough for saving my life. God Bless You All !
