Dr. Muller is my dry eye disease specialist. She is knowledgable, experienced, thorough and very personable. Although I have seen her only twice so far, I know that she is treating my dry eye disease comprehensively and aggressively.
Dr. muller has taken care of my eyes for many years. She is well informed about advances in dry eye treatment and very thorough in her exams. She and her staff are a delight to work with.
I've been seeing Dr Muller for 6 months now and my extreme dry eyes are a good 75% better ... She's caring and thoughtful- She makes sure every procedure is carefully explained from the procedure to the insurance coverage. She offers clear explanations and alternatives if cost is an issue. Really goes above and beyond.
Dr. Muller is not only THE expert in dry eyes, but in almost any eye condition possible. That alone does not make her THE Opthalmologist to visit; It's also her bedside manner, her willingness to make herself available to her patients and her unbelievable diagnostic skills. Before they gave me an appointment I was asked what my insurance was; medicare and top level United. They said they accepted that. After filling out pages of financial info and signing in 6 places, I asked to check that my insurance covered everything and I marked off all the tests that I did not need as I had just been seen by another Doctor at Harkness Eye Institute( they said the never heard of that place). I am so happy I found Dr. Muller. I suffer from dry eyes that affect my daily life but after meeting Dr. Muller I feel much more comfortable even after 2 weeks starting treatment. As a registered nurse, I am passionate about finding physicians who teach patients about treatment plans with confidence, compassion, and patience. Dr. Muller has all of these qualities. I came to Dr Muller with severe dry eyes. She is helping me getting better and better. It has been life changing for me. I do the recommended treatments including allergy treatment with SLIT. I have been to eye doctors in several contries. Dr Muller is the doctor that have helped me the most! I cant recommend her enough!
I opted for all Dr Muller's recommended tests, procedures & medications for 4 months, despite extremely high costs ($1990 for Lipiflow, elsewhere $700-$1000), experiencing no improvement. Though she was knowledgeable (thus the 2-star rating) my experience with her was very poor: I waited 1 hour & 15 minutes 2 out of 3 sessions, then seen for 15 very RUSHED minutes with no time to ask questions before she was out the door.
