Dr. Ackerman is a superb surgeon with a very friendly manner. I was up and about immediately and my recovery was excellent. An important bonus is that he’s extremely well educated. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Ackerman is a Phenomenal Doctor who is a master at his craft of orthopedic surgery. I can speak from experience. I had 4 surgeries with in 5 months with Dr. Ackerman. I have had two knee replacement surgeries and two shoulder scoped cleanings. All have been home runs! I have recommended to several friends to go to Dr. Ackerman for their surgeries. All have turned out excellent and they have called me to thank me for the recommendation.
I left a review prior to my total hip replacement of Nov 26th 2019. In that review I gave my praises to Both Dr. Ackerman and his staff for the experience up to my surgery date. It is now 45 days since my procedure and the results are outstanding......I attend rehab twice a week to increase ROM but I also start my day with a 1 mile walk around my neighborhood...I cannot believe how good the results are. Thank you Dr. Ackerman and staff. I am truly grateful.

Dr. Ackerman replaced my right knee over 15 years ago and I can say that I have had no complaints since then. When my right hip became a problem I returned to him. The appointment wait time was only 7 days. The office staff are thoughtful and kind. I feel confident that it will be a good experience and have full confidence in both him and his staff.
