Dr. Ackerman is a gem. He listens, take his time and always provides choices. Patiently listens to questions and answers honestly and easy to understand. My meniscus surgery was flawless. Never felt any pain and along with PT, recovery was immediate. I am forever grateful to have found him.
Dr. Ackerman did a right total knee replacement and then a revision on my left knee (which had been replaced by another orthopedist). Care has been exceptional and the office staff are wonderful. My mom is now scheduled to have bilateral knee replacements with Dr. Ackerman.
Dr Ackerman was my surgeon for my hip replacement. Throughout the whole process he showed excellent bedside manners, providing excellent care both at a personal and professional level. In this interesting times for medicine in the 21st century he exemplifies what a physician should be.

I met with 5 Doctors before deciding on who to go with. After meeting with Dr. Ackerman I found the decision very easy. He was very attentive, always got back to me with my questions and concerns . I had full knee replacement and am very happy with the results. He has excellent reviews for a good reason
A major thank you goes to Dr. Ackerman, Jeneva, and the entire crew in their physical therapy department for giving me my quality of life back!!! I only wish I had my total hip replacement done earlier. It is without hesitation I recommend Dr. Ackerman. His skill, attention to detail, and overall caring are unsurpassed!
He is the GOAT of ortho. This guy took over my case and from the very beginning has shown nothing but compassion and concern for me and my wife. He has no “give up” and makes sure your questions are answered. His staff has a true concern and care that is unmatched. Yes! Doctor Ackerman and Palm Beach Sports Medicine have given me my active life back! My total knee replacement has gone smoothly from day one. My knee was bone on bone and kinked so badly that I could barely walk. Now 5 weeks out my knee is straight, I can walk 4 miles, and I am ready to swim and do indoor cycling again; this is all possible due to my great surgeon and my PT at PBSM.
