Dr. Ackerman and his staff at Palm Beach Sports Medicine are caring, competent, and very knowledgeable. Made having knee surgery almost stress free. Plus, I've had several follow up appointments to make sure the healing process is progressing as it should. Would definitely recommend Dr. Ackerman and his team for any orthopedic needs.

Tore my lateral meniscus, followed up with Dr. Ackerman who did a great surgical repair. My knee is actually in better shape now than it was before the surgery, he cleaned out extraneous torn cartilage and I have been very pleased with his service.
Dr. Ackerman is absolutely amazing. Hands down, the most compassionate surgeon that I have ever met. He is very thorough, and will educate you on all options, surgical and non-surgical. He has performed 2 knee surgeries on me, one of which being a partial replacement. He is patient, kind, and even takes time to make sure that you are using your crutches correctly. Dr. Ackerman gave me my life back! He performed an anterior total hip replacement with outstanding results. He's an excellent surgeon with first-class credentials, and I highly, highly recommended. His postoperative care was immediate, consistent, and felt very personalized (he spent time at each visit answering every question - never rushed). Dr. Gary Ackerman and his wonderful staff at Palm Beach Sports Medicine gave me the best medical experience I've ever had. The hip replacement surgery was a breeze, Jupiter Medical Center made my brief stay so pleasant I didn't want to go home, and my new hip has made my life good again. I was up and walking as soon as the surgical meds wore off, only needed pain meds the first 10 days after surgery, and was off the walker and using a cane after only 2 weeks. Just turning 70 years old, I have had more than my share of joint, spine and bone issues. At the moment, I don't know what is hurting the most.....my back, my right groin/hip, 2 recently displaced rib fractures or the latest...my neck. Neither of my shoulders are happy campers. However, if I failed to complain about my knees, let me tell ya....They are perfectly painless!!! Dr. Ackerman replaced my left knee in 2000. He replaced my right knee in 2002. No pain and they still work great. An A++++ for Dr. A. He's the best. .
Dr Ackerman has provided excellent follow up care. Doing great 2 years later and have zero pain.
