Dr. Gary Ackerman and his wonderful staff at Palm Beach Sports Medicine gave me the best medical experience I've ever had. The hip replacement surgery was a breeze, Jupiter Medical Center made my brief stay so pleasant I didn't want to go home, and my new hip has made my life good again. Just turning 70 years old, I have had more than my share of joint, spine and bone issues. At the moment, I don't know what is hurting the most.....my back, my right groin/hip, 2 recently displaced rib fractures or the latest...my neck. Neither of my shoulders are happy campers. However, if I failed to complain about my knees, let me tell ya....They are perfectly painless!!! Dr. Ackerman replaced my left knee in 2000. He replaced my right knee in 2002. No pain and they still work great. An A++++ for Dr. A. He's the best. .
Dr Ackerman has provided excellent follow up care. Doing great 2 years later and have zero pain.
I received a new knee from Dr. Ackerman on 8/2/22. I could not be happier with the results. My knee was at full range of motion after only three visits to PT. He is an amazing surgeon. I have recommended him to several people that I have noticed limping. The staff is amazing as well. All very polite and concerned about our well being. Cudos to Palm Beach Sports Medicine and Dr. Gary Ackerman !!!
Dr. Ackerman and Palm Beach Sports Medicine are top notch. I am almost a year post-TKR. Dr. Ackerman is a superb surgeon and a wonderful human being. A winning combination - you cannot go wrong here.
I would simply echo each of the comments and experiences regarding working with Dr. Ackerman that others have left below. I had a total right hip replacement in mid-May after suffering with advancing osteoarthritis for many years. I tolerated it probably longer than any sane person should but like many, I've not had to have surgery, ever. My experience at Jupiter Medical Center was exceptional, my follow up care at Dr. Ackerman’s office and physical therapy facility have given me back full function of my knee.
