I received a new knee from Dr. Ackerman on 8/2/22. I could not be happier with the results. My knee was at full range of motion after only three visits to PT. He is an amazing surgeon. I have recommended him to several people that I have noticed limping. The staff is amazing as well. All very polite and concerned about our well being. Cudos to Palm Beach Sports Medicine and Dr. Gary Ackerman !!!
Dr. Ackerman and Palm Beach Sports Medicine are top notch. I am almost a year post-TKR. Dr. Ackerman is a superb surgeon and a wonderful human being. A winning combination - you cannot go wrong here.
I would simply echo each of the comments and experiences regarding working with Dr. Ackerman that others have left below. I had a total right hip replacement in mid-May after suffering with advancing osteoarthritis for many years. I tolerated it probably longer than any sane person should but like many, I've not had to have surgery, ever. I had seen two other surgeons before I found Dr. Gary Ackerman. He listened to my concerns, explained my options and performed a total knee replacement. My experience at Jupiter Medical Center was exceptional, my follow up care at Dr. Ackerman’s office and physical therapy facility have given me back full function of my knee. Having Dr. Ackerman do my right knee replacement surgery was the best decision I believe I have ever made. Dr. Ackerman has been my surgeon since 2018. He listens well and pays close attention to details which makes him very thorough. I appreciate the fact that, as a surgeon, he does not rush to operate. The office is fantastic. The patients are seen in a timely manner and the staff is very professsional and attentive. Dr. Ackerman is a gem. He scoped a knee that had caused me a great deal of pain for three years after a total knee replacement performed by a Doctor who had specialized in custom knees. I had full knee replacement and am very happy with the results. His staff is always professional and helpful. He never rushed me and never pushed for surgery that I wasn’t ready for. My knee is like a normal knee now and I am so thankful.
