Dr. Ackerman is an amazing physician. He performed a complete right hip replacement for me three months ago. It went very well. I’ve had multiple orthopedic surgeries as a result of Lupus & Rheumatoid Arthritis. So, I’m telling you he is by far, the best Orthopedic physician in the area! He’s kind, thorough, highly trained, and cautious in his approach.
Dr. Ackerman has been my surgeon since 2018. A failed total knee replacement from 2016 deprived me of quality of life. A total knee revision became necessary. Dr. Ackerman performed the surgery in December 2023. My recovery is incredibly fast, even my physical therapist is very impressed. I'm amazed at the relief that I am feeling already. I love the fact that Dr. Ackerman, as a surgeon, is not quick to recommend surgery. He makes sure it's medically necessary after trying alternative treatments. I can't even express how happy I am with my TRKR that Dr. Ackerman did on 12/26/23. I am 4 weeks Post op and doing great. My scar looks fabulous and even my PT it in shock at how much I can do already. My PT office is now referring patients to Dr. Ackerman. If I say Dr. Ackerman and his team are a 10 out 10, that is a understatment.
Yes. I am another pickleball statistic. I blew out my Achilles the second time I ever played…and yes, I am in pretty good shape. I was referred to Dr. Ackerman and was told he was the best, and he is. I had surgery in May and I was actually walking pain free by August. I've had multiple surgeries with Dr. Ackerman. He is an excellent surgeon. He goes the extra mile and adds a personal touch to his patients. His staff is very efficient and Geneva is a gem. She gives you thorough and immediate attention . Great assistant.

From the very first visit I was comfortable with Dr Ackerman he took the time to explain the surgery to me and my wife. I recently had a right hip replacement done by Dr Ackerman. Eight years ago he replaced my left hip. I would highly recommend him! Procedures have improved since my last replacement. I was in the hospital one night and released early the next afternoon. I was up shortly arriving in my room at my request. They now have a phone Application that allowed me to avoiding having a physical therapist come to my home or a need to go to physical therapy. A cost and time savings. I was referred to Dr. Ackerman for a full hip replacement. He and his staff were professional, compassionate, empathetic, and worked diligently to assist in scheduling my surgery in a timely fashion. Dr. Ackerman took the time to address my questions and explain the process from surgery to recovery, he followed up several times after surgery - observing my hospital therapy and confirming safe practices at home.
