This has been my surgery since birth and yes, they are usually swamped and it's hard work to get an appointment (especially since the post-covid backlog). But, since visiting a pharmacist due to a recent issue, I cannot fault them - I was seen within 20 minutes after visiting a local pharmacist and went home with my prescription and referal following that appt. It's a good change to see! Now for later appointments for those working 9-5 please.
Awful surgery, receptionists are rude and think they have the power to decide if your appointment is urgent or not or they'll send you over to the pharmacy. Most of the doctors don't care and just want you out the door.
I don't recommend this surgery at all. Receptionists were often rude to me and people calling on my behalf. And doctors were extremely unhelpful 90% of the time. And wrote my notes wrong a majority of time which has made the process of getting one of my issues sorted and escalated to more specialist teams more difficult. I've not moved to a different surgery.
They are Reception Staff are rude, they cancel blood tests and then blame you for cancelling it. When you phone they make fun of you on the phone and put the phone down on you and won't help you. Absolutely unprofessional and unhelpful.
