Would not recommend and or return to Dr. Katz, horrible bedside manner and very rude. I have been seen as outside monitoring patient to become a surrogate. Went in for labwork and US, I am a mother myself so I had my young daughter with me for OV(whom was very good). As we proceeded to do US he recommended I leave her next time and not bring her. Staff are amazing! The treatment team keeps you going and encourages you. Only saw Dr. Y twice during my IVF, but he coordinated my treatment plan and now I'm pregnant! God willing, my baby girl is due in February.
I cannot say enough great things about this doctor and facility. I arrived at Shady Grove after 6 failed medicated cycles at another clinic, ready to move on to IVF and ready for my baby. Dr. Katz agreed with me that IVF was necessary, and it needed to happen soon. His staff was there with me answering all of my questions every step of the way. Zero bedside manner!! Needs to retire!! Not considerate and thinks he is funny!
I love SGF! Dr. Katz was very flexible and was willing to try other treatments. I also adored my nurse Jenna. They are the reason I have beautiful twin boys.
Will not ever recommmend Shady Grove. Left me a 45 second voicemail saying I could not have a baby. Thanks so much for the consideration :’(
I was told I had a 6% chance of having a baby without IVF. Two months after we stopped trying because we couldn’t afford the $6,000 medicine to start the process we became pregnant on our own. This Dr. called himself God and has a gimmicky tendenancy to write upside down; which is bizarre given the serious nature of what we were going through.

We were always told my husband was unable to father a child. Shady Grove took impossible odds and made being parents our reality! Shady Grove Fertility and Dr. McKeeby turned the impossible into our reality. Our 4% chance is here and he is so worth it. So happy I found shady grove. After 8 years of trying and failed treatments I am finally 9 months pregnant! I thought it would never happen, and am so thankful to them!
