I had ACL reconstruction on L knee in 2014 and R total knee replacement in 2019. I am so pleased and thankful with the outcome of both procedures. I would not want any other surgeon, than Dr. Lyle Cain, Jr. He is a wonderful doctor and person! 5 stars and then some!
I was experiencing some sudden pain in a knee that Dr. Cain performed a total replacement on 8 years ago. His team was quickly able to work me into his schedule and I flew from Richmond, Va to Birmingham to see Dr. Cain. He was able to identify the source of the pain in another area of my body that was impacting my knee and put together a treatment plan that is addressing the issue. Dr. Cain has replaced both knees and shoulder surgery. He is truly “The Man.” When other doctors say it can’t be fixed, not only does he make the repairs, he got me back to running, throwing. He truly gave me my life back. Dr. Cain is simply the best.

Spent much time explaining my MRI results to me and offering treatment options. I did not feel rushed at all, and appreciated attentiveness to all my questions.
Dr. Cain is great. He and the other physicians and staff at Andrews Sports Medicine are fantastic. They are the only ones I trust enough to operate on me and fix all the stuff I keep tearing.

Dr Cain and his staff were excellent. From check in to Xray, to scheduling my surgery. I live out of town and had bad experience with previous doctor I had been using for my knee, and called Dr Cain office and they set me up. I will be using him for whatever else comes my way in the future. He is an excellent doctor.
