I had a frozen shoulder and some other shoulder issues in the last couple of years. Each time that I visited his office, Dr. Cain, his Physician Assistants, and the whole Team was welcoming, sympathetic, and most importantly, knowledgeable. He knew exactly what my problem was and offered more than one treatment option. His entire office is patient centered and willing to listen to our concerns. I think we are blessed that his office is in Birmingham.
Not only is he a great doctor and person but a good friend also. He never forgets anything we discuss, and always returns my calls no matter how busy his schedule is. I would not recommend anybody else but Lyle.
Dr. Cain was very personable and thorough explaining what my shoulder problem was. Recommended surgery to repair. I’m very confident with Dr Cain.

I have been through a lot of surgeries and rehabilitation and lots of doctors and I’ve never had a doctor like him. I respect him as much as any man I’ve ever met, because he is one of the most humble and helpful men I’ve known. He is one of the best and busiest surgeons in the world and has taken the time to get to know me over the last few years and still takes the time to talk about life and encourage me at every appointment. Dr. Cain is a great doctor who cares about his patients and shows it. He has helped me over the years with different issues with total recovery. He is the best!! We are fortunate to have such a smart dependable doctor!!
