Most rubbish GP ever. They don't give you appointments, and if they manage to give you one, they refer you to the pharmacy instead. There is only 1 good male doctor who helps a lot the rest of the doctors are there just to sit and earn money they dont even help with serious issues that patients have.
Have tried numerous times to call in for an appointment to be met with automated response with a patronising thank you for calling before being cut off. This happens every single time you call their official number. Ended up going to a walk in centre instead but have no idea how people who work during the week can ever get seen by this surgery. Update: A slight improvement to the service provided means i can upgrade the original review but would not recommend.
My son had a mild rash on his eyelid. I phoned the surgery to which nurse Shirley gave him a cream which worsened his eye. I phoned again and pleaded for a face to face examination to which she said they are not fully protected and refused to see him at this point she referred him to dr Raja who prescribed an antibiotic not suitable for children. my good experience has been at the grantham riad and dolobran road big medical centre. dr ali is professional and well trained alhamdulillah. decent sisters service and quite efficient and polite. sometimes going to the other place off stoney lane is a little slow service.
Some receptionists at this place do not have a clue. Firstly the did not send my repeat prescription to the pharmacy after requesting and being told it will be at the pharmacy on a wednesday, went to collect medication and told by pharmacist prescription has not been received. I decided to phone the surgery whilst at the pharmacy, waited 10 mins on the phone and they did not answer, so i thoight ill pop in to the surgery as its next to it.
