Mercy San Juan ER , This place should be shut down!! By far the worst service I have ever been given! The staff had me feeling like some kind of criminal from start to finish ! This was an OUTRAGE! and then came a man who claimed to be a "doctor" a DR. Duncan to be exact, He came in gave me one look and told me " you don't have cancer, that's just a tumor nothing to worry about, why did you even come here?" I was confused with this sudden diagnosis and asked him, " so there is no need to follow up? no Biopsy to really prove ... read more

Please do not take your loved one to this hospital! My mother had her IV come out in the middle of the night and her bed was soaked for hours. She was dehydrated going in, so she was without fluids for several hours. A second time her IV became problematic for about two hours and left her arm extremely swollen. She had 5 previous hospital visits and this never happened. They are dangerously understaffed, so your loved one will suffer. Will never return.

we have been going there for 14 yrs. Always saw Kathy Benson. she was amazing & cheerful. now we see Dr. Hudson. each yr the company my hubby works for PAYS for a physical for us. its not a complete one, just enough to make sure all is ok. when I went on 3/6/17, because Dr. Hudson gave me a prescription, I was charged for a visit. so my husbands company paid them & I got a bill to pay. Know one said i'd have to pay for an additional visit. the staff is rude, his nurse was rude, kept asking me to get all these tests done. the... read more

I made several simple yet specific requests of the doctor, anesthesiologist, and nurse prior to my surgery at St. Marks. Each "healthcare professional" assured me that my requests would be honored. After surgery I learned that NONE were. The entire experience left me feeling utterly betrayed and marginalized. If you go there for surgery, you will be heavily sedated as quickly and as long as possible so that they don't have to worry about your humanity. I strongly encourage you to find a different hospital for surgery.

I have had bad experiences myself, but so has my ill mother. I will start with my mother's experience that prompted me to write this review. My mom has had heart surgery and brain surgeries in the past, and has been on Methodone and opiate pain medications for many years now for her many ailments. She was admitted to this hospital and she had her narcotic pills with her, in their original bottles. The nurse saw her open purse, saw the pill bottles, and took them. This was a week ago. Today my mom is getting discharged, and a... read more

relative was in this hospital for a couple of weeks. I would not say that the Dr's are the best there it appears to me like a clinic. It's like certain things are not done on the weekend and most of the employees are on bankers hours. ( like a clinic) one Dr on call at night. Most of the nurses were very good this is one good thing about the hospital. However if you think you or your love one is very sick you need to go to another hospital.. Also they didn't fight at all to get him into a decent rehabilitation center. I reco... read more

Great care about the patient. Efficient and friendly staff. Check in could be a little more efficient. Maybe arrange the entrance so you don't disturb the other people.
