BEWARE People if you love your family members don’t go to this doctor. If you or your love ones need a hospital bed or any medical equipment this Dr doesn’t help you get what you need. They just send you off to fend for yourself. If he is your primary doctor then his office should be doing everything for you and all insurance including Medicare cover everything especially if it’s medically necessary. Very Very upset with these people. Been seeing Dr Beckwith for 25 plus years and because I am filing a Chapter 13 bankruptcy I was told they would no longer see me. I could see a Chapter 7 where they don't get paid but mine was a repayment plan where everybody gets paid. It would not be such a big deal except for the fact I'm in pain management taking a powerful narcotic and due for a refill in the next day. What makes matter worse is that they NEVER told me they would not see me until I called for the refill. VERY disappoin... read more

9/4/2000 I was in an MVA “Passenger” once they revived me I was in a coma, hemorrhaging on the left side which never was stopped, L-1 & L-2 where out of place- never had surgery because, Riviera Electric had paid LUH not to diagnose because, I had an HMO through them. This hospital was so money hungry they went through my wallet & found that card. After they found out there was 5 other liable insurances they tried to stall me for them 4yrs to expire. I recently had to have care for both my brother and my mother here on two separate occasions. From the staff in the emergency room, to the care of the nurses on the floor, to the expertise of the doctors, I was impressed on both occasions from top to bottom. It’s sad that often only people with negative experiences tend to post their complaints online. Canonsburg should be proud of this community Hospital and all it has to offer to it’s parients.

I had major surgery last year and was in the hospital for 5 days. The care I received was amazing. I'm the first to admit I'm a horrible patient and they were good with that.

I would highly recommend this hospital! I got a new hip on the 25th of Oct. I'd read reviews this was a horrible place but, I trusted (more or less) my surgeon. I was delightfully surprised at the care & attention I received from the nurses and CMA's. I even got one plate of hospital food I actually enjoyed!!! The furniture could be upgraded, but furniture isn't what someone goes to the hospital for, right?
