I do recommend Dr. Matthews to anyone with knee issues. I respect his opinion and trust his skills. Having had both of his knees replaced at the same time, he has first-hand experience of being a patient. He has great empathy for his patients! He patiently answered all of my questions. I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery of 8.5 weeks ago - revision of partial knee replacement to total knee replacement.
Dr, Matthews is amazing. He is very thoughtful about his plan of care for his patient. I have the utmost respect for his skill as my husbands surgeon. He is a great man in my eyes and we are grateful for his care. His office is great to deal with. The PT office has been top-notch. All our needs have been taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Matthews without hesitation.
A very professional doctor. He shared with me my medical procedure and even though I did not understand all the terminology it gave me an idea of how he gathered a very knowledgeable team to take care of me. Although Dr Mathews has been doing these types of surgeries for almost 30 years he approached my surgery with respect to my existing conditions and treated me with respect. Absolutely one the best experiences I have ever had with a doctor. He is considerate, and explains all procedures in a way that I could understand. Having surgery in a couple of weeks, and I have the utmost confidence in his skills.
Dr. Matthews treated me for an ankle injury. He was patient and listened to everything I had to say. He gave concise yett easy to understand answers and instructions. He has a very approachable demeanor and friendly smile. I would highly recommend him to anyone for an orthopedic issue.
Dr Matthews is the best. He took care of my knee 10 years ago and when I hurt my shoulder I went to him and had surgery. He and his staff are great. Caring and super nice.
On my first visit to Dr Matthews I had to wait two and a half hours to be taken to an exam room. After my time with the Dr he said someone would right in to make a follow up appointment and discharge me. Another 15 to 20 min passed with no one showing. I took myself to the front desk asking to make a follow up appt. She dialed a # handed me the phone and walked away. When a mailbox recording came on, I walked out. The staff was totally incompetent and rude in the way they handeled the patients
