HORRIBLE. ONE OF THE WORSE DOCTORS OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. ALWAYS CANCELLING AND RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS LAST MINUTE. STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND ALWAYS CHANGING. HE IS EXTREMELY IMPATIENT AND VOLATILE. HE IS ALWAYS CURSING AT PATIENTS AND DOES NOT THINK THEY HEAR HIM. IT IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE!!!!!

AWFUL. Cancels and reschedules appointments constantly, does nothing to try and actually help you with your illness. Both his staff and he are so incredibly rude.

This doctor all the time cancel appointments and no call back, all time he changes secretaries, and doctor yacoub is rude,it takes more than 40 minutes to pass a query and in 5 minutes yacoub have your diagnosis and your prescription and within a month he want to see again.when you explain your problems seem to be ignoring.if you need a neurologist not waste time and health with this bad doctor.

My very first appointment with this doctor seemed liked he was he was a caring doctor. He put me on meds to help me. I was having some side reactions but he told me I would have that. Then the second appointment was a nightmare. I was in a lot of pain and I was out of medication. He told me he would give me them but he didn't. Save the trouble RUN from this doctor. Find someone else. He does not care! He will seem like he does for the first time but not care about you after that. You can call his office all you want. You wil... read more

When my 15-year-old daughter first started having seizures out of the blue I could find no one to see her because she wasn't 18. Dr. Yacoub stayed after regular hours to see her for me and I was so relieved. Somehow that person I thought was SO kind has turned a difficult situation into a total nightmare. He has cancelled appointments on us and then it takes forever to get back in again. In the meantime she had run out of medications and I had to threaten to call the emergency number all through the night for them to give he... read more

We have seen this dr. 2x for my 17 year old son. Dr. Yacoub never returns phone calls nor continued requests for documentation for my son's school. I now know why it was so easy to get in to see him. I would not recommend this doctor.

As of 07 Feb 2011, per the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, Dr Carl Damses Yacoub is no longer Board Certified - expired 31 DEC 2010. He *does* maintain a current DE medical license. I have contacted my insurance carrier about (1) his lack of Board Certification, (2) possible HIPAA violations (lack of proper medical documentation), and other medical / insurance issues. After 6 years under his care, I requested my records. 18 months and multiple 'stories' later - I received a partial record which did NOT include the ... read more

Run from this Doctor, he is horrible. PLEASE do not place your child in his care. He is really creepy, has a spaced out look and stares at you like you are nuts when you ask him questions. He continues to cancel appointments several times before you actually get back to him for follow up care. I agree that anyone who has had a bad experience with him should indeed contact the medical board and the department of justice to file complaints.

Dr. Yacoub is a fabulous neurologist. Sadly, his office staff is TERRIBLE. Terrible to the point of being deadly. I am changing practices due to the office staff. Shame on you Yacoub for not recognizing and resolving this problem that many of your patients are experiencing.
