Been with Dr Patel almost 30 yrs. he has taken good care of me and some family members. Listens Takes his time. Cares about his Patients.

Dr Patel has taken care of my chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic stones for several years and I would go to no other Doctor. I do not live in Colorado and travel over 750 miles each way twice a year because he is the best and most professionally accomplished physician I have seen. Very few physicians in the US have his level of expertise in his specialty. His caring and concern for his patient is exemplary. His medical assistants go above and beyond the typical care for patients as well.

I was treated as if on an assembly line. He spent less than 5 minutes the last appointment telling me "eat vegetables" but when I reminded him of the vomiting he told me to put them through a blender. (he only was happy if doing a "procedure"). Very condescending. Was recently told not to go back to him as he is "dangerous" in his lack of ability or follow up.

AWFUL! First appt at 0800, waited over 90 minutes. Took a personal phone call during the visit. Called office on a Monday because of bleeding, no call received back by Wed afternoon. Ended up going to the ER and stayed in the hospital for 3 days receiving 3 units of blood. As a nurse, I am VERY disappointed in the way he cared for my little brother. Never even gave us a correct diagnosis based off the path report. Disgusted with him. Would never go back or recommend.
