All Dr Patel does is procedures. Like a piece worker in a factory. Forget about any questions you may have regarding your situation. Forget about any interaction with this doctor. After the Endoscopy he performed, of course I had questions. I was told “Oh, he’s on to his next procedure”. The nurse had to go over my results with me. His nurse practitioner asks the questions and schedules his procedures. You don’t have an actual appointment with him or have any kind of conversation with him.
Dr. Patel misdiagnosed me with Nash cirrhosis of the liver and he also refused to treat me for gastritis and a hiatal hernia he found during an EGD because my insurance wouldn't let him use a Smart Pill. He blamed me and told me I had Crappy insurance. I I have a new Doctor now, and would strongly advise anyone of staying away from Dr. Patel.

If I would have listened to this Doctor, I would not be alive today. After having several gastro problems, months of problems... he did a colonoscopy and missed the fact that I had a mesh implant that had totally twisted up my intestines, part of my bladder, my sigmoid colon, appendix, and large bowel. Resulting in all of these having to be partially and/or totally removed in an 8 hour unexpected emergency surgery! Thank God I didn't listen to him. He said I had IBS, and my colonoscopy was fine and sent me home with medicine... read more

This Doctor is unreachable and unresponsive for important issues. I will avoid like the plague.
Dr. Patel and his staff constantly reschedule me and are late to the appointments. While Dr. Patel may be competent, I struggle to understand how the practice is booked 4-6 weeks out, then need to reschedule every time. My procedure was rescheduled, and my follow up has been rescheduled three times so far. They are not responsive and appear to only funnel patients through so they can bill the insurance companies. My wife has been with Dr Patel for about 4 years, after scheduling issues with his staff(basically she would call, leave a message and they would never call back)When this was brought to his attention he attempted to mildly threaten her. Since then he has been declining her medication.We now are going to another doctor in the hopes of receiving better care.
I've been seeing Dr. Patel for about 10 years and have definitely seen a decline in his caring manner. He told me alot of wrong information so I suffered another infection because of that. He seems only interested in the money he gets for all the procedures he does. I will not be going back.
