Dr Steephen is very thorough and has monitored my care for the past two years while on TPN after diagnosis of short bowel syndrome and poor absorption.

I had an excellent experience all round
Everyone was polite. The Dr. listens to your issues and tries to figure out your problem. This was only a follow-up /check-up. I had some symptoms, and she recommended these (2) over the counter meds.... which seem to be doing the trick. I thought I was gonna have to have another colonoscopy, but apparently I was wrong (thank God). She's a little hard to understand, but I am confident she knows what she's talking about..... and she has helped me !
This was my first visit to this office and Dr. Steephen. Her office staff were very pleasant as was Dr. Steephen herself. Questions were answered in a very professional manner. She took her time, did not rush us out the door and made us feel at ease.
She told me I had H pylori, but only gave me antibiotics and some antacid meds. I asked if there is a restricted diet, and she actually said no. Luckily, my pharmacist happen to be Asian (where it's common) and he gave me exact instructions on how to get rid of it, which worked like a charm. When I went back for the follow up, she actually asked me how I got rid of it so fast. I was like, do I need to teach you what I did? And yes there are absolutely dietary restrictions. Dr Stephen listens carefully to what you have to say and not in a rush to get you out. Very kind and compassionate mannerisms.
Both my husband & I were patients of hers many years ago - our daughter-in-law was her medical billing specialist.
Dr. Steephen has been my gastroenterol doctor for the last 17 years. She is an excellent doctor. I trust her diagnosis.
