Doc and staff are wonderful!!
Ahmar Shakir was very polite and professional, he is one of the best I ever met when I visited his office with my wife who had broken wrist. His assistant Toni is super helpful.
The times I’ve visited Dr,Shakir, they went well no issues.I even took my son to see him as well no problem visit went well,
Dr. Shakir is a great surgeon. Very knowledgeable. I had shoulder surgery a few months ago and had very little discomfort. I had full range of motion within weeks. I highly recommend him and the staff at Hamilton Office.
I had an emergency visit to DR. Shakir's office because I fractured my toe. He took good care of me. I would recommend. The front desk is nice too.

(my first visit) I have a Distal Tibia Fracture. I was referred to Dr. Shakir who told me that I needed surgery and from the Xrays, he showed me I didn't see how. He also never explained why I needed Surgery or what the surgery would consist of. The only thing he told me was he going to set me up for surgery in the next few days. Which his office did, with a different diagnosis saying that I had a pavilion fracture (Wrong). I told her that wasn't my original diagnosis and that I wasn't comfortable with surgery. As a first time patient my experience was horrible. Everyone, from the front desk person to the nurse to the doctor to the check-out person, was rude, impolite, dismissive, and overall showing a very poor attitude. The pseudo doctor I saw, Ahmar Shakir, was the worst. He was dismissive, he laughed at me, he assumed things about me that are wrong, but worst of all he was about to order me medications that I'm not allowed to take. I would give zero stars if it were an option .. Dr Shakir by far the worst doctor I have ever seen in my entire life.. I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to come to this practice.. none caring barely explain anything to you I’m so glad my gut told me not to let him do my rotator cuff surgery! Luckily it was intercepted 2 times and that was a sign from God... I felt I was treated like a person without health insurance...I advise you to find another ortho doctor if you’re reading this!
