Please go elsewhere for proper care and treatment. This doctor does not spend quality time with his patients, did not order imaging, did not properly diagnose my injury and after a second opinion, I need surgery with my injury. Due to this doctors lack of care, my life has been affected greatly. Months of pain, sleepless nights, loss of time, work, money, due to this doctor! Please seek care elsewhere!!!

Dr. Shakir is a great orthopedic surgeon who has taken care of many of my family members. I would highly recommend him.
I had to take my teenage son to orthopedic doctor for shoulder pain. My experience visiting Dr Shakir: 1. Easier to get appointment 2. Very courteous front office staff 3. I cannot thank Dr. Shakir enough for all of the assistance he has provided me and my family over the years. I had injured my finger and, more recently, my knee. Dr. Shakir helped diagnose a perpetual pain I had been having for years with my elbow. He was understanding and able to explain what was going on with a timeline of the healing process. His treatments resulted in a quick healing process and I was able to go back to work not long after.
I can't express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Shakir's care. Not only did he fix my wrist fracture but he also gave me a sense of hope and care that I didn't know existed. I would highly recommend Dr. Shakir to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon. He truly is the best of the best.
Dr Shakir was very knowledgeable and caring while explaining a pinky fracture. Excellent hand surgeon! He coached me through the exercises and now I have full function! Highly recommend!
Dr Shakir took his time to explain things in a clear and understandable manner to my mother and follow up with me afterwards regarding her injuries. Even though it was an emergency and he squeezed her in, he made her feel comfortable! Would definitely recommend!
