When we moved here, it was so nice to have a really nice surgery right by our house. Appointments were quick & doctors were great. Now they’ve merged with Keston in Purley & I can never get an appointment there, so have to drive 10 minutes. The last two times, they’ve confirmed a physical appointment, then when I’ve arrived made me wait for an hour, only for the doctor to ring my wife at work for a phone appointment. This used to be such a lovely surgery to have locally. Unfortunately they have merged with Keston in Purley and now its just ridiculous. You call up and your never less than 20 in a que. I was on hold for 40 minutes to eventually be told that there are no appointments left for the day and to call back tomorrow. That never used to happen. I have never not been able to get an appointment. I just feel so disappointed that our fantastic surgery and now a massive let down.
I always find the Moorings staff extremely helpful, on Monday I called and Jane H answered she went over and above what she needed to do to help me, nothing was too much trouble for her she is always very friendly, , I then went to see the nurse Evelyn such a happy person you feel like she is your friend rather than nurse. Can’t fault the reception staff all excellent nothing like the Olof days when you were frightened to talk to them🤣🤣
