What a great place for cyclists and such a warm welcome. It’s a lovely shop with a superb Cafe, serving barista coffee from RAVE in Cirencester. There are tables and outdoor options. A big bonus is a nice clean toilet. What a gem! We will make it a regular stop on our bike rides. Well done Down Ampney community.
As a resident of Down Ampney I thoroughly recommend our Community Shop. Some will say - well of course she would! However, I remember the Village Community Shop when it was in a portacabin which stocked an amazing variety of food, cleaning materials, sweets, newspapers and stationery and fruit and veg donated by villagers who had a glut! I volunteered in the portacabin shop when we moved to Down Ampney to meet people and get to know the area better.
