Wow. I was sooooo happy Dr JonDavid Nicholson made time for my little baby kitty. Her fever had spiked to 106!!!!! So afraid I would lose her but he found a way - a shot that might help, because she was too young for most treatments. We started her on antibiotics immediately. The shot began taking effect right away, and she began improving that same evening! I thank God for the good people at DRVC, and ESP for working in special cases like our baby's was! I took my dog here to be fixed yesterday and am very unhappy with what transpired. I talked to them about fixing him, he is a male dog, they scheduled it and I brought him in to have it done. They had me full out a budget and said if it would be more than that, they would call me. I heard nothing. I Called to check on him and was advised he had just been put to sleep for surgery and once again, said nothing to me about extra anything. Have taken my dogs to Dr. Kays since she was in a trailer on the property while the clinic was being built. It is a wonderful place and all my many animals have been there and received great care.
They seemed to be over booked because it usually takes just a few minutes to be seen and your out of there within 30 minutes but this time I had to wait to see the doctor because he was in surgery and had to wait for over an hour. The doctor was really nice and didn't have any issues with the staff or him. Just the long wait time and my poor little dog was so nervous from hearing all the other dogs crying and barking it was scaring him. But other than that I never had any other bad experience before this one.
