****UPDATE: Stanley now has a heart Murmur that he did not have before and his new vet believes it’s possibly from being sedated at such an old age and has a secondary infection from unsanitary conditions**** Brought my 15 year old Persian cat in today to be groomed and dematted. I told the girl to not sedate him due to his age.. he’s been groomed there before and has never had to be sedated. My girlfriend brought her cat in there this morning to be groomed. He is at least 15 years old and she SPECIFICALLY said NOT to sedate him for grooming, that if it came to that to call her. Well they heavily sedated him anyways without mentioning it. She spoke to someone throughout the day and they never mentioned him being sedated until we showed up to pick him up. Not only that, he had to get completely shaved, and they charged a de-matting/combing fee, which if your pet is SHAVED, then what is the purpose of that fee? Now... read more
