I purchased a vehicle and the salesman sold me a vehicle that I loved , when it was all through with the sale I found out it was a Hybrid after telling Him I didn't want another Hybrid . He wasn't knowledgable enough to know . I had bucking problems since day 1 that they never could find . also they gave me only 15,000 for a 1yr old vehicle when I purchased it for 25,000 . You purchased your 2013 Malibu for $21,000 approximately 6 1/2 years ago and after owning it for approximately 1 1/2, you traded it in which we gave you $14,000 in trade towards the purchase of a '12 Buick Lacrosse. The vehicles are very similar as both GM and one is simply a Chevy and other a Buick. I spent the afternoon at Dover Chevrolet hashing out a deal for a 2019 Colorado. I don’t know how those of you reading this feel about the process, but I do *not* enjoy it. Despite this, my sales person Nick Elliot made it all more than tolerable. Many dealerships claim to be above “the games” but this proved to be true, here. No theatrics, no haggling- just transparency. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and clearly skilled at their profession- Nick especially. I use to think this was a great dealership but after they sold two vehicles I had made deals on I will never go back again. On both occasions I asked them if I could put a down payment on the vehicle because I was going to my bank to get the loan I was told no. After just one day I called and told them I had the loan both times they told me sorry we sold it today. I had previous bought 3 cars from them in 4 years.
My wife and I drove to Dover Chevrolet Wednesday night with hopes of bringing home a used Odyssey we had our eyes on. Upon further inspection there was a seatbelt issue and our trip home wasn’t to be. Despite not being able to drive our new car home that night the team at Dover Chevrolet worked tirelessly over the next day and a half to make sure we were all set to get on the road for our family vacation that Friday. Excessive time to get amount in writing/ emailed. Kudos for sending a rebate check after I pointed out miscommunication of final price. Didn't top off fluids, but Glad I waited to write review.
