I went there knowing what I wanted and got exactly that. Got a cheap used car there, under 3k, spend $500 on additional repairs and, did put some heavy miles on it over the next 3 years. Then sold it for 2.5k.
I had purchased 2 cars from The Autobarn VW of Evanston in one week. Our salesperson Elvir Hamulic was a wonderful person. He was very helpful, his customer service was excellent and went above and beyond helping me and my husband. I would recommend people to purchase there cars from The Autobarn VW in Evanston.

This low rating is mostly directed at the service department. The salespeople I've encountered were great but oversold the service department. I've taken our Jetta in 3 times and have yet to walk away completely satisfied. I may be spoiled by Pohanka Acura, Pohanka Chevrolet and Audi of Chantilly, all of which I recommend. Always a positive experience at Napleton VW. Colette is by far the best sales person in the business. We have purchased 7 VWs from only Colette because of her honesty and integrity. LOVE MY VW's and Colette is AWESOME!!!
Jeff Frank was the service person who helped me. I told him what I needed and he had it done! No expensive add ons! He was knowledgeable and helpful in reminding me what would be needed on my next service.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! The salesman staff and the manager are horrible. I am not the typical buyer, was my first car purchase and they did nothing to make this process pleasant or to even get the sale for that matter. After this experience I would not recommend any of the BOMMARITO dealerships to anyone.
