As I was returning home from Fla., I had stopped at store #23535 in Alford, Fl. I am very impressed at how clean and well stocked it was. The manager was very nice and friendly. I will always stop here on my visits to and from Fla.
Called this corporate office 6 times after an employee in Louisiana canceled my Cashapp deposit on 10/13/23 & stole $500.00 from me. Was told 4 times that this Manager Micah would call me but never has. This $500 was pretty much all I had after not working due to a layoff. Why would you not take this seriously?? I have all the proof from cashapp that it was canceled that day! Next step is the police. I tried to handle this respectfully & not publicly but was never contacted back 1 time.

The new bigger stores are just the smaller stores with bigger ilses so you don't have to sqweez around end caps. For the most part they have what you need. What set me off today was some 18 yr old with some kind of authority complex tells me its a company wide policy to card EVERYONE. I turned 61 last Saturday and was extremely annoyed with this. I live across the street from the store in San Bernardino Ca on East Base Line St so I shop there frequently. There was an incident where a black lady who was a potential renter at my husband and my home was caught shoplifting. I came around the aisle and saw her and even reprimanded her because I do not condone that sort of behavior. Well a store employee also saw her and threw her out of the store. As a long time customer, I am fed up with being overcharged on so many products. The shelf price tags show one price and when you get to register, a much higher price is rung up!! For instance, recently I purchased an electric can opener. Shelf price tag shows $11.00, price at checkout was $15.00. I don't have my receipt, I bought several items and there were other over charges. There is always one cashier and long line of customers, so I do not want to argue or refund the product. Dollar General has a coupon where if you spend $25 or more in three separate transactions you get $20 off a purchase of $20.01 or more. Well I spent $25 or more in 3 separate transactions on 3 different days but it didn’t activate the $20 off of $20.01. The coupon expires on September 30 and I have called the corporate office several times and the last time I was told that someone would contact me to fix the issue. For the past several months the air conditioning has been out at the Sebastian, Florida store. The employees told me two other stores in the are have no A/C as well. We are setting record high temperatures and these poor employees suffer in stifling heat all summer! I visited the Sebastian blvd store and walked out!
