My father came into through the ER for a low heart rate. He was treated very nicely in the ER however when he got to his room that was a different story. The nurse was very condescending to us and repeatedly said "she could not make the doctor come". After speaking to a second nurse the same nasty, condescending attitude was present. If you ever have to be admitted to a hospital I recommend driving 2.5 hours to San Antonio. This is completely ridiculous.
It has been over 26 hours and a doctor has yet to come see my dad. No one here takes their job seriously. They are rude and seem annoyed by our concern for our father. People of Laredo, in an emergency situation I highly recommend driving the 2.5 hours to San Antonio. This place, doctors and staff, is the worst.
Scheduling an appointment for an MRI has become a complete nightmare at this hospital. All week I have been trying to get through to schedule my appointment and I get sent to a voicemail to leave a message and I’ve left messages and never get a reply. I called a few more times and they would answer and ask me to hold and I was literally on hold for 32 min before they picked up and hung up. This hospital billed me $270 and I'm still trying to figure out why. I never received a bill or a phone call so I don't even know what this bill was for. I monitor my credit report and found out that Doctors Hospital sent it to collections agency which has now negatively impacted my credit.
Negligence, they don’t do their job and they put me through a really delicate situation. Very bad staff and doctors!!! Especially in Emergency.
I really appreciate how K Montalvo and J Cedillo attended my kids 2 year old and 10 month I’ve been to ER before and they don’t want to give me meds for them! I went to ER cause the medication the pediatrician prescribed didn’t get my daughter in feeling better. J Cedillo prescribed the perfect meds and got my kids feeling better in no time! Love how K Montalvo was sweet and patient with the kids I know they aren’t easy to attend but she did a great job!
Horrible service at the emergency department. Always one hour and 30 minutes + to get called, informed etc. Staff is rude 90% of the time no matter at what time you come in. It is very disappointing that the hospital hires people like that. I cannot even stand coming in the hospital. The only reason we needed to come here was because it was an emergency & closest hospital to the home we were at. This is the third time I need to be in this department UNFORTUNATELY but recall the horrible service received. Hideous!
