Overall experience was great. Dr Charles was great, a very good listener Doctor, always listen when communicating, he is compassionate, approachable, patient centered care is his priority. Conclusion the Surgery has improved a lot with new Doctors available and Doctors like Dr Charles made it different, very calm in approach and I must say he is a great Dr. Also admin and reception team are good. My rating is totally satisfied with the care received. E. Nwokenna

5* review for a Helpful and friendly appointment with Dr Charles Godavitarne. However, since then we have had bad service with this GP practice. We have been back and forth on getting a referral into NHS community paediatrics and after 2 months we have needed to be re-referred for the 3-4 time. We are still getting nowhere. We are back at square one…there is no continuity of care with rotating and often locum GPs meaning no one is following up on this issue.

Overall, the practice has improved a lot, I’ve been with them for over 10 years and I see value in continuing to be their patient. Yesterday, I got a last minute booking because someone cancelled an appointment and being seen by the doctor who put the right diagnosis hugely improved my condition. There used to be a high staff turnover, with things that were slipping in the past, but the current reception team is great.

I've had very mixed experiences at this surgery over the years but the reception staff are always top notch and make every effort to get you seen urgently. The physio I saw was brilliant. Today, my toddler and I saw Dr Charles Godavitarne and he instantly put my daughter at ease whilst dealing with her medical issue. I feel much more positive about the surgery knowing it is moving away from agency staff and more towards in-house GP's.
