My Mother was admitted to Dixie Regional Hospital on Christmas Eve Morning... I want to thank the Professional Medical Personell from the ER & the 3rd floor...they are treating my Mother so nice...I really appreciate all of them.
I know that they are busy an waiting for 4 hrs for stitches may happen well did happen. But being the first person you meet at the front desk should be a better experience. Kindness goes a long way to people who are hurt or sick. Even if you care less about then, be nice. I work for intermountain an front desk RN you clearly need some education about what we stand for.
My Dad was in the ICU in October with pneumonia and he was treated with the best care ever. We were very happy with the way everyone was. He went back in the hospital last Monday for open heart surgery and was just released today. Again everyone in the surgery dept, ICU and the cardiac ward were wonderful to my Dad and our family. Giving him the best care ever! Dixie Regional Medical Center is THE BEST!!
The healthcare in St George is amazing! One of the main factors in our decision to move here what the care that we knew our daughter could get.
Nice newer hospital with alot of amenities but don't let that fool you. I would say 65% of there staff are well trained and do there job well while the other 35% are either new, take to much time before they can help you or possibly do only what they have to "lazy". Food from the cafe is this best food you can get for the price it's great however room service food from the kitchen is horrible can't believe people would even eat it! I can only say we received above and beyond excellent service and attenton towards my sons emergency. In and out of the ER in a very short time, specially having out of state insurance. I wish we had this kind of service in California.
My son-in law broke his ankle in 3 places and OBVIOUSLY dislocated it. Got to the ER and we waited in the waiting room for 3 HOURS before he was even put in a bed. Another 2 HOURS before he had an X-ray. Another 2 HOURS before the PA decided to get him something for pain. The ladies at the ER desk were rude and seemed to be annoyed with the fact that people needed help on Thanksgiving day.
